IDA BELL
About
Ida Chatfield, a nineteen-year-old girl, goes missing three years after her dear friend dies from poisoning, and the day after, another young friend falls fifty feet from the fire bell tower in Aspen, Colorado. The authorities ruled Ida Bell’s death a suicide, but her parents and those who knew her know better. This novel is based on factual events and tries to tell a true story from a Nebraska farm to life in a Victorian-era mining boomtown.
